  • About:

Scope of works involved the propping of roof structure and detailed demolition of all internal walls and a significant proportion of the rear façade to incorporate a new balcony. This basically gave the architects a clean canvas to work from – only the exterior shape of the building placed limits on their conception.

The unit consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, hidden laundry, large two desk study, and a large, combined kitchen, living and dining room which extends out onto the new cantilevered balcony overlooking Bondi Beach.

Notable features of the design include; replacement of all external window and door units to the building with custom anodised commercial glazing, large bi-folding doors to access the balcony which can be open to the full width of the building, custom made joinery elements, architectural light fittings and motorised pelmet blinds.
